Recommended by a board-certified nutritionist

The first olive oil Carol has recommended in 10 years.

You found her channel looking for an honest answer about high-polyphenol olive oil. This is the oil she points you to — chosen for the downloadable lab report, the harvest date, and the single estate behind it. Not the marketing.

"After 10 years of looking, I've found a family dedicated to quality. This is the first time I've ever endorsed an olive oil brand — because the third-party lab analysis is available for customers to review."

The checklist, answered

You already know what to look for.

Carol taught you the criteria. Here's how Deliba answers each one — with proof you can see and download.

01 Dark glass bottle
UV-coated dark glass — protects polyphenols from light.
02 One estate, one cultivar
Cosmano family estate, Molochio, Southern Italy. Monocultivar — never blended.
03 Harvest date, not an "out" date
Harvest date printed on every bottle. You know exactly how fresh it is.
04 Pressed within hours of picking
Cold-pressed within 6 hours of harvest.
05 Third-party lab report
Independent Certificate of Analysis available to download before you buy.
06 A real polyphenol number
Lab-measured totals: Monocultivar Ottobratico: 629 mg/kg (black label) Monocultivar Sinopolese: 609 mg/kg (white label) Not a vague "30x more."

"But isn't higher always better?"

No. A claim of "30x more" would mean ~21,000 mg/kg — a number you couldn't swallow. 629 mg/kg is the verified, palatable range you can use every day.

The daily ritual

One spoonful. Every morning.

The way families have done it for generations in Molochio, Southern Italy.

In the village this oil comes from, a spoonful of fresh, high-polyphenol olive oil — often with a squeeze of lemon — isn't a wellness trend. It's a morning habit, passed down for generations. Bold enough to feel it at the back of your throat. Fresh enough to want it again tomorrow.

  • 🍋 Morning. A spoonful with fresh lemon, on an empty stomach.
  • 🥗 Midday. Drizzled raw over salad, bread, or whatever's fresh.
  • 🍲 Evening. The Sinopolese for cooking — gentler, every day.

Large bins filled with freshly harvested green olives during the Deliba 2025 early harvest in Molochio, Southern Italy
Each full bin holds about 330 kg of olives. At our early-harvest yield of just 9%, that bin produces only about 30 liters of oil — and every 500 ml bottle still takes more than 5 kg of fruit.
Why Deliba costs more

Look at these olives. More than 5 kg of them go into every single bottle.

A supermarket olive oil can be made for volume. Deliba is made for quality, freshness, and verified polyphenols. That starts with an extraordinary amount of fruit.

330 kg olives in one full bin
9% oil yield from early green harvest
≈ 5.5 kg olives in every 500 ml bottle

To make oil this rich in polyphenols, we harvest early — when the olives are still green. Green olives hold far less oil, so our yield is only about 9%: roughly 9 liters from every 100 kg of fruit.

That means more than 5 kg of hand-picked olives go into every 500 ml bottle. Lower yield is the direct, unavoidable cost of choosing polyphenols and freshness over volume — and one reason Deliba is not priced like ordinary grocery-store olive oil.

Not long ago we ordered a case of 6 bottles of the Deliba EVOO and split it with a friend. Now I wish I had the whole case! This is lovely green, fresh, special olive oil. We do not use it for cooking, only to drizzle on top of almost everything other than ice cream. It makes everything better. I hope we can order again next year, or sooner maybe.

This Olive Oil was so easy to order using paypal and the product came very quickly considering it came from Italy to the Midwest USA. It is really a nice smooth tasting olive oil, adds just what is needed to my special dishes: rissotto, soups, salads, and pastas. I shared the order with two of my friends and we were all so excited to have oil from such a famous area of Italy, with so many centenarians and this year's harvest as well. The price was very reasonable. What more could someone ask for in Olive Oil!! Thank you Team Deliba for your product and service!

Gianfranco Cosmano — Molochio, Southern Italy.
A family business

From our family to your table.

We grew up in Molochio, a small village in Southern Italy where living long and well isn't a marketing claim — it's simply how people live. Our family has tended these groves for generations, knowing the oil we made was more than food. It was our health.

Deliba is a family business. We started it to bring this oil to people who'd never tasted olive oil this fresh — joining what our elders taught us with the lab testing and transparency the best producers owe their customers.

Every bottle carries its harvest date and its lab report. Nothing hidden. I document every harvest, every lab test, and our daily rituals on our YouTube channel — so you can see exactly where your oil comes from. If there's ever a problem, you're talking to the family that grew it.

To your health,

Gianfranco Cosmano & family

Honest answers

Questions, answered.

The things customers ask most — and the things a careful olive oil buyer should ask before choosing a premium EVOO.

Every bottle shows its harvest date and lot number, and the independent third-party lab report is available to download before you buy. Deliba is single-estate, never blended from different countries, and cold-pressed within 6 hours of picking. You can check the polyphenol count, acidity, and harvest information yourself — nothing to take on faith.

Our groves are farmed with natural, traditional practices, without synthetic pesticides or chemical treatments. We are not USDA Organic certified, because we are a small family farm, but every bottle is traceable to our single family estate in Molochio, Calabria, Southern Italy.

Deliba is not a blended supermarket olive oil made for the lowest shelf price. It is single-estate, family-produced, cold-pressed within 6 hours, and independently measured for polyphenols. You are paying for freshness, traceability, rare Calabrian cultivars, verified quality, and a product made in limited quantities — not a commodity oil.

The current harvest is October 2025. The olives were cold-pressed within 6 hours of picking, and the oil is stored carefully before shipping from our New Jersey warehouse. The harvest date and lot number are shown on the bottle, so you always know what you are buying.

Your order ships from our New Jersey warehouse — not directly from Italy. That means no customs delays for you and no international wait. Standard U.S. delivery usually takes 3–5 business days, and shipping is free on boxes of 4 bottles or more.

Both oils come from the same family estate. Ottobratico is bolder and more peppery — best raw, drizzled over food or used as a morning spoonful. Sinopolese is smoother and more balanced — ideal for everyday cooking, salads, seafood, vegetables, and bread. The Duo gives you both: one to finish, one to cook.

A peppery tickle at the back of the throat is a normal sign of a fresh, high-polyphenol extra virgin olive oil. Deliba is bold, but still balanced for daily use. It is not made to be harsh or impossible to enjoy — it is made to be used every day.

You are covered. If your order arrives damaged, or if you are simply not satisfied, reach out and we will make it right with a replacement or refund. No need to ship food back. We can stand behind the oil this way because every bottle is traceable to our family estate and harvest.

Yes. The Club gives you 10% off and automatic delivery at the frequency you choose. You can change the frequency, skip a delivery, pause, or cancel anytime. No lock-in, no penalty.

Keep it in a cool, dark place with the cap closed tightly — never next to the stove or in direct sunlight. Unopened, it is best within about 24 months of harvest. Once opened, use within 3–4 months for the best flavor and polyphenol integrity. The dark glass helps protect the oil, but storage still matters.
