Beyond Ordinary Olive Oil

FROM MOLOCHIO, SOUTHERN ITALY
The Everyday Oil From a Village of Centenarians
The same estate. The same harvest. A more versatile profile.
Deliba's olive oil, sourced from the pristine groves of Calabria, embodies the essence of Blue Zone longevity. Known for its rich polyphenol content, our single-origin, cold-pressed olive oil is not just a culinary delight but a cornerstone of a health-promoting lifestyle. Discover why Deliba olive oil is a vital ingredient for those seeking both the flavors and health benefits of a Mediterranean diet, synonymous with longevity and vitality.
The Cosmano family has farmed Sinopolese and Ottobratica olives in Molochio since 1967. The village — documented by USC longevity researcher Dr. Valter Longo and featured in National Geographic in 2013 — recorded a centenarian concentration four times that of Okinawa at its peak. The local diet included olive oil as a primary fat, daily, in quantities of several tablespoons.
Deliba Sinopolese is not the "second" variety. It is the one most similar to what local families have used every day for generations — balanced enough for cooking, expressive enough for finishing, and polyphenol-rich enough to matter.
Single estate: Cosmano family farm, Molochio, 450m altitude
Harvest 2025/26: November–December
Lab certified: 609 mg/kg polyphenols · 0.19% free acidity

What is the shelf life of your olive oil?
The Sinopolese 2025/26 has a best-before of 24 months from the November 2025 harvest — approximately November 2027. Store in a cool, dark place with the cap closed tight. Once opened, use within 3–4 months for best flavor and polyphenol integrity. A 500ml bottle used at 1–2 tablespoons per day will be finished well before quality declines.
How long does shipping take?
Orders ship from Deliba Food Inc. in New Jersey — not from Italy. Standard US delivery is 3–5 business days after dispatch. Free shipping on orders of 4 bottles or more. You will receive a tracking number by email when your order ships.
What is the difference between the Sinopolese and the Ottobratico?
Both come from the same Cosmano family estate in Molochio. The Ottobratico (629 mg/kg polyphenols) is bolder — harvested in October, more peppery, designed for raw finishing over food already on the plate. The Sinopolese (609 mg/kg) is more balanced — harvested in November–December, more versatile, suitable for both moderate heat cooking and raw finishing.
Most customers use the Sinopolese as their daily cooking oil and the Ottobratico for finishing dishes at the table. The Longevity Box Duo includes both — one bottle of each.
Is the polyphenol count verified by an independent lab?
Yes. Every batch is tested by Sintesi Analisi Chimiche e Biologiche, an accredited Italian laboratory. The Certificate of Analysis for batch #37839 (Sinopolese 2025/26) is linked in the product description above. The COA includes total polyphenol content, free acidity, peroxide value, and individual phenolic compounds. The same document is available in our Lab Report.
What is the best way to store olive oil?
Store your olive oil in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. This helps preserve its flavor and nutritional properties.
Can I purchase your olive oil in bulk?
The Sinopolese is available in 1, 4, and 6-bottle formats on this page. Free shipping applies on orders of 4 bottles or more. For restaurant or professional volumes, see our bulk supply page. Every professional order ships with the same Certificate of Analysis as the retail product — no separate bulk grade.
